Medical Office Assistant at Foundations Naturopathic Health in New Westminster, BC
Medical Office Assistant
As one of the first people you’ll connect with at Foundations Naturopathic Health—whether by phone, email, or when you walk through the door—I want you to feel welcomed, heard, and supported from the beginning. From your first contact with us through your appointment and beyond, I’m here to help make your experience feel smooth, organized, and personal.
Accuracy, privacy, and patient autonomy are important to me in the way I support each person who comes through our doors. To me, health records are more than administrative information—they represent real people and their stories, and they deserve to be handled with care and respect.

Supporting Patients & Our Care Team
A big part of my role is helping with the details that make your experience at Foundations run smoothly, including scheduling, communication, records, billing, and the many behind-the-scenes details that patients may not always see. I want you to feel that there is a person here who can help you navigate those details and make sure you don’t feel lost in a complicated system.
I also work closely with our naturopathic doctors, helping coordinate the administrative and day-to-day details of the clinic. By taking care of those details behind the scenes, I can help create more space for our naturopathic doctors to stay focused on what matters most—their patients and the care they provide.
Experience & Approach
I bring more than 13 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant, along with a background in healthcare education and logistics coordination. At Stenberg College, I taught phlebotomy and worked as a Cohort Coordinator for Cardio Tech programs, experiences that strengthened my understanding of clinical safety, organization, communication, and the importance of accuracy in healthcare.
Working on the front lines of healthcare has also given me a strong appreciation for the details that keep a clinic organized and running well. I bring that experience to my work at Foundations, where I enjoy finding practical ways to support both patients and the care team.
I’m currently pursuing my HICA designation to further develop my knowledge of health information management and data security. I’m particularly interested in how accurate, well-organized information systems can support privacy, streamline clinic workflows, and make healthcare easier to navigate. For me, good systems should work in the background while still helping you feel informed, respected, and empowered to make your own choices about your care.
A Little More About Me
Outside of work, I have a big imagination and a love of reading, writing, and spending time at the library. I enjoy progressive music, have a particular appreciation for Asian horror, and love a good thunderstorm.
At Foundations, I particularly enjoy seeing the variety of care offered to patients, with acupuncture and Theralase among my favourites.
And if you see me at the front desk, come say hello—I look forward to meeting you!
