Heal Your Body
Foundation for Health
What you put into your body is one of the most important components of your health. Think about your car.... if you use the wrong fluids and lubricants your car will not run properly. Your body is the same. Your body cannot operate at optimum functioning if you do not put the right nutrients into it.
Herbs are powerful medicines and can be used to treat (or support the treatment of) all ailments. Herbs can be taken in the forms of teas, tinctures, suppositories, poultices, oils, creams, or as food - all formulated especially for any patients unique needs.
An Ancient Science
Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that uses needles to effect change on the Meridians that run through your body. It can be used to improve any number of concerns: congestion, muscle and joint pain, addiction, and so much more.
Homeopathy is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow through the body. It has been commonly used throughout Europe for centuries. It helps activate the natural healing processes in the body as well as improve physical and emotional well-being.
Physical Medicine - muscles, joints, bones
Focussing on Structure
Sometimes joints need to be adjusted and muscles need to be worked out. Our clinic has many options for managing pains, strains, pains, and other physical health issues, including physical manipulation, hydrotherapy, and Theralase© cold laser therapy.
Honouring Our Bodies
As a primary care provider, our clinic is happy to offer women their wellness exams, including breast, bi-manual, and pap tests. Our goal is to make this exam as comfortable and respectful as possible, with the patient being as informed with the process as they would like.
Looking Deeper for the Cause
Labs can be a great way to get to the underlying cause of what is going on. We can offer in-house testing and kits for allergies, hormones, pregnancy and some infections and can refer our patients to Life Labs for any bloodwork we cannot offer here.
